The FIRST Foundation (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) started the First Robotic Competition in 1992 to inspire students to look at careers in engineering, technology, and science, and to expose students to professionals in these fields.  The competition started with 23 teams in 13 states.  We are team #869 and now there are over 990 teams from almost every state [and also from Canada, Brazil and Great Britain]!  Corporate America has played a significant role in this organization and we would like to recognize CORDIS as the major sponsors for our team!  Won’t you join them?
